At Mahan’s Detailing we prioritize the Two Bucket Wash Method to clean and protect your vehicle's paint. This method involves using separate buckets for our contact wash—one with soapy water and the other with plain water for rinsing, this prevents dirt and contaminants from scratching the paint during washing. By minimizing abrasion and maintaining the paint's integrity, we ensure a thorough and effective cleaning process that enhances the longevity, appearance, and value of your vehicle.
What is a pre-rinse and why do we do it?
At Mahan’s Detailing we prioritize pre-rinsing as an essential step in our detailing process to keep your vehicle's paint safe. By using a high pH soap for our pre-rinse we are able to emulsify any dirt, films, bugs, tar etc before the contact wash. Doing this we significantly reduce the risk of scratching. Without pre-rinsing, we would essentially be washing your vehicle with dirt particles that can scratch the paint, compromising its clarity and gloss. This proactive approach ensures that our detailing services not only cleanse but also preserve the integrity, value and shine of your vehicle's exterior.
